The University Libraries will present results of a Realities of Academic Data Sharing Initiative study at 8:45 a.m. Oct. 1 in the Nebraska Union. The event will feature our hybrid sessions, all open to faculty, staff and students. Review the full agenda and register to receive the Zoom link for the event.
Since 2024, the University of Nebraska–Lincoln has participated in the initiative, a study examining how researchers at 12 institutions manage and share their data and how campus units, such as libraries and information technology offices, support that work. The study has now reached the results phase, and members of the Realities of Academic Data Sharing team, along with local co-principal investigator Leslie Delserone, will be on campus to present the findings.
The day will include a walkthrough of UNL-specific findings, benchmarking and peer comparisons, as well as an overview of the broader project and its results. It also provides an opportunity to connect with colleagues across campus who share an interest in the work and to begin discussing how university services and support might evolve.
