The University of Nebraska–Lincoln will host more than 4,000 prospective students during upcoming Diversity Leadership Symposia, Red Letter Day, Husker Weekday and Math Day.
These events bring an increased amount of traffic to campus residence halls, the Nebraska Unions and dining centers. As they participate in their respective events, the students also take campus tours which can help them determine if the university is the best place for them to build a future career.
The Diversity Leadership Symposia are Oct. 30, Nov. 6, Nov. 12 and Nov. 19. Other key visit days include Red Letter Days on Nov. 1 and 9; Husker Weekday on Nov. 11; and Math Day on Nov. 14.
University Dining Services expects longer-than-normal lunch lines. Notifications about these days will be posted on digital message boards and Nebraska’s dining menu app.
“Please be patient as our guests explore campus, learning more about what it means to be a Husker,” said Abby Freeman, director of admissions. “We ask that the university community extend these emerging leaders and future Huskers a warm and respectful welcome. Let’s show them why there’s no place like Nebraska.”
