Jazz choir showcases talent in first-ever virtual video

Video: UNL Jazz Singers sing "Orange and Blue" remotely

After just four days of practice, the Downbeat award-winning UNL Jazz Singers released its first-ever virtual choir video, singing Sarah Jarosz "Orange and Blue."

The choir is directed by David von Kampen, a lecturer in the Glenn Korff School of Music. A small choir, the UNL Jazz Singers is open (by audition) to all members of the university community. Students are instructed in jazz style, ensemble singing, lyric delivery, solos and improvisation.

The UNL Jazz Singers rehearse twice a week. Learn more about the choir.
