Two honor societies at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln are organizing a fundraiser to support the Team Jack Foundation, a non-profit that provides funding for pediatric brain cancer research.
Nebraska’s Black Masque Chapter of Mortar Board and the Nebraska Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa, both national senior honor societies, are holding a five-kilometer Jack-o-Lantern Jog at 2 p.m. Oct. 21. The race will begin on the Nebraska Union Plaza.
The race will include a costume contest, photo booth, pumpkin painting, pie-in-the-face event and snacks.
