International students are invited to share their experiences in a series of student-led Community Chats this fall hosted by the International Student Advisory Board.
In partnership with Global Affairs and the International Student and Scholar Office, the student advisory board is hosting three Community Chats to gather insights for recommendations in alignment with the third goal in the Forward Together global strategy and the N2025 Strategic Plan. The listening sessions will also serve as a springboard for the next iteration of the International Student Experience climate survey launching in the spring.
Multiple sessions will be hosted in September and October, and in person participation will be capped at 30 to allow for deeper conversation. Students must register in advance and can choose from the following times:
- Sept. 29, 7 to 8 p.m., OASIS Student Lounge
- Oct. 15, noon to 1 p.m., Nebraska Union Ubuntu Room
- Oct. 25, 6 to 7 p.m., OASIS Student Lounge
International students who cannot attend in person but would still like to provide feedback can do so via an anonymous survey.
Questions about the Community Chats can be directed to the ISAB at isab@unl.edu. Funding for the series is also provided by OASIS and the AFIRE initiative in the College of Education and Human Sciences.
