University employees are invited to participate in HealthierU’s Stretch It Out Virtual Program, an 18-day challenge designed to encourage consistent stretching and mobility practices.
The challenge runs Sept. 1-18, with participants encouraged to complete at least 10 minutes of stretching or mobility exercises each day. Employees can choose how they participate, whether by stretching at their desks, taking movement breaks between meetings, following a guided routine such as Hinge Health or incorporating gentle mobility exercises into their evening routine.
The program emphasizes consistency rather than perfection. Participants can use the challenge to make intentional time for movement, explore different approaches to flexibility and mobility, and develop habits that may help them feel more comfortable and ready to move throughout the day.
On weekdays during the challenge, participants will receive program-exclusive emails with resources, practical tips, guided videos and flexibility and mobility practices that can be incorporated into their routines.
The program is open to employees at all activity levels, from avid athletes to those looking to improve flexibility or simply move more comfortably during the day.
Registration is open and available through the Virtual Program and Challenge webpage on the HealthierU website.
