Sarah Beal, a Husker alumna, is an associate professor in the division of behavioral medicine and clinical psychology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She is also the scientific director for the Comprehensive Health Evaluations for Cincinnati’s Kids Foster Care Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Her research focuses on the impact of child welfare and health care involvement on trajectories of development and health for adolescents in foster care. She received her doctorate in developmental psychology from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
