Nebraska is holding a Back to School Bash for students at 7 p.m. Aug. 25 on the Nebraska Union plaza and green space.

Organized by Student Involvement, the event will feature Headphone Disco, a unique and surreal club experience that appears to be a silent dance party. Music is broadcast through provided headphones, which immerse participants in the sounds of dueling disc jockeys battling it out for music supremacy.

Other events at the free event include inflatables, exotic animals and shaved ice. Sponsors include the William H. Thompson Scholars, Student Involvement, Campus NightLife, Union Bank and the Daily Nebraskan.
