DT, a 30-year-old horse who has been with the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Equestrian Team since 2008, celebrated his birthday March 31 in a corral decorated with balloons and streamers alongside Jihan Aljnabi, a veterinary science student and team member.

The event, held at the Animal Science Complex, honored DT's birthday and retirement. Well-wishers from campus and the public enjoyed pony rides, a petting zoo, games and time with DT and his fellow team horses.
