Pianist Ingrid Fliter and multi-instrumentalist Sara Watkins will perform at the Lied Center for Performing Arts in November.

November’s shows:
Ingrid Fliter, Nov. 13, 2 p.m. – This Argentine pianist sprang to international attention after receiving the prestigious Gilmore Artist Award in 2006. Since then, she has performed with some of the world’s top ensembles and is recognized as a pre-eminent performer of Frederic Chopin. The show launches the Lied Center’s fourth annual Piano Series and will include Chopin’s complete preludes. Tickets
Sara Watkins with Susan Werner, Nov. 30, 7:30 p.m. – A founding member of the progressive bluegrass group Nickel Creek, Watkins has established a successful solo career that includes acclaimed studio albums, regular appearances on “A Prairie Home Companion” and collaborations with artists such as John Mayer and The Decemberists. She released her third studio album, “Young in All the Wrong Ways,” in July. Folk singer-songwriter Werner will open the show. Tickets
