University of Nebraska-Lincoln staff will come together May 9 to strengthen the institution’s capacity as a data-informed campus through the Assessment + Impact Summit.
The event, which opens at 9 a.m. May 9 at the Willa Cather Dining Facility, will feature a keynote by Ashley Finley, associate vice president for academic affairs and dean of the Dominican Experience at Dominican University in San Rafael, California, In her presentation, Finley will encourage participants to develop meaningful partnerships that challenge the way we think and talk about assessment.
Prior to joining Dominican, Finley was senior director of assessment and research at the Association for American Colleges and Universities.
Twelve additional workshops will be offered along with roundtable lunch discussions and an interactive experience with the Tableau data visualization platform. A complete overview of the summit is available online.
