The Nebraska Center for the Prevention of Obesity Diseases will host its fifth annual fall symposium from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 11 at Sheldon Museum of Art.
The symposium is free and open to university faculty, postdocs, students, staff, industry partners and other interested parties, offering an opportunity to explore relevant topics and to network with fellow researchers in academia and industry.
Speakers this year are internationally recognized experts on the topic of organisms and protocols in biomedical research. They include Jason Kim, University of Massachusetts; Yunlong Liu, Indiana University; and Denise Ramirez, UT Southwestern.
Registration is required, and seating is limited. Registrations will be filled on a first-come basis and will close when all seats are reserved or by Sept. 6.
