A panel of jurors from the Great Plains Art Museum’s biennial juried Native American art exhibition will discuss their selections in the Paul A. Olson Seminar in Great Plains Studies at 7 p.m. Nov. 3.
The jurors for this year’s exhibition, “Contemporary Indigeneity 2016: Spiritual Borderlands,” were selected for their knowledge of and connections to the contemporary Native American art community. The informal panel discussion will provide insight on the selection process and address topics regarding the contemporary Native American art.
The panelists are Heather Ahtone, University of Oklahoma; Netha Cloeter, Fargo, North Dakota; and Jill Ahlberg Yohe, Minneapolis Institute of Art.
