An exhibition featuring designs by 26 Master of Fine Arts students opens Oct. 10 at the Eisentrager•Howard Gallery in Richards Hall. The exhibit, “UNL MFA Program,” will be on display through Oct. 23.
An opening reception is 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 10 in the gallery. Both the exhibit and the reception are free and open to the public.
During the exhibit, the National Association of Schools of Art and Design will review the Department of Art and Art History for reaccreditation.
“This accreditation ensures that we meet the same high standards as the most prestigious private art schools in the country,” said Peter Pinnell, chair of art and art history. “Our graduate program is nationally ranked and we are very proud of the quality of work that our students produce. We feel that the best way we can demonstrate the quality of our program is to show the work of our students.”
