The Glenn Korff School of Music dance program presents the 16th annual Evenings of Dance concert series April 21-24 in the Lied Center for Performing Arts’ Johnny Carson Theater.
Performances are 7:30 p.m. April 21-23 and 2 p.m. April 24. Tickets are $12 general, $10 university faculty or staff and $7 for students, youth and seniors age 62 and older. Tickets are available in advance through the Lied Center box office, online or at the door.

“Evenings of Dance 2022 will be a return to the Carson Theater for four nights of beautiful and innovative dance created by two faculty, three guest artists and four students and performed by a cast of dedicated and talented UNL dancers,” said Susan Ourada, associate professor of dance .
The performance will feature lighting design by Dan Stratman and Michelle Harvey, assistant professor of theatre, as well as several of Harvey’s lighting design students in the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film.
“We are so thrilled to be able to present live performance to a live audience in the beautiful Carson black box,” Ourada said.
In addition, alumni from the dance program at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln are invited to gather following the April 23 dance performance for a post-show meet and greet at Screamers Family Restaurant at 803 Q St. in Lincoln’s Haymarket.
