Elsie Koehn makes a friend as she and her mom, Lindsay, meet Louie and her owner, Abby Clutter, of Healing Heart Therapy Dogs. The encounter came at East Campus Discovery Days and Farmer’s Market on June 12. The inaugural event combines a farmer's market with science exploration and fun, family-friendly activities.

The event is being held once a month through August. Remaining offerings are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 10 and Aug. 14.
