University Libraries’ “Demos and Donuts,” a monthly series that highlights library services, is back for the fall semester.
Students are invited to enjoy the “how-to” demonstrations, such as finding library sources and building bibliographies, with a Dunkin’ Donut.
The 15-minute demos are free. No registration is required.
The first session, “Getting Started with the University Libraries,” is an introduction to the University Libraries and explains essentials for students to get the most out of the services offered at the libraries. This session is at 2 p.m. Sept. 12, in the Adele Coryell Hall Learning Commons and at 2 p.m. Sept 13, in Love Library, second floor link.
The second session, “Beyond Excel,” is a demonstration for students to sample other tools, besides Excel, that help to visualize datasets. This session is at 2 p.m. Nov. 14, Adele Coryell Hall Learning Commons and 2 p.m. Nov. 15, Love Library, second floor link.
