Those visiting campus for Nebraska home football games this season will notice a number of changes aimed at preventing the spread of the novel coronavirus.
Game attendance will be limited to players, coaches, staff, their family members, stadium employees and credentialed media, with no guest access to the field for any reason. All guests and personnel will be required to wear facial coverings inside Memorial Stadium and are urged to practice social distancing whenever possible. Facial coverings also will be required in outdoor settings on campus if safe social distancing and gathering practices are not possible.
The Nebraska Spirit Squad and Cornhusker Marching Band will not be in attendance. However, the Nebraska Athletic Department and HuskerVision are teaming up to deliver a “Second Screen” virtual game day experience for fans. For more information, click here.
All campus parking lots, garages and buildings will be closed to the general public. Tailgating is strictly prohibited on university property. Only working staff, media and designated guests will be permitted to park in predetermined lots.

This year’s homecoming events are student-focused, but alumni and fans are invited to celebrate wherever they are by using the hashtag #UNLHomecoming. Homecoming royalty will be crowned in a private ceremony at the Wick Alumni Center during halftime of the Nebraska-Penn State game on Nov. 14.
Game-day information for players and coaches, family members, stadium employees and credentialed media permitted inside Memorial Stadium is available here.
