Award-winning composer Carter Pann will host a three-day residency at the Glenn Korff School of Music Dec. 3 through Dec. 5. The event is one of several school of music events this week.
Pann will conduct open classes with student composers, conductors and performers on Dec. 3. On Dec. 4, a program of Pann’s chamber music will be performed by students beginning at 7:30 p.m. in Kimball Recital Hall.
Pann’s three-day residency will culminate in a concert beginning at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5 in Kimball Recital Hall. The recital will feature Nebraska’s Wind Ensemble, directed by Carolyn Barber, and will be accompanied by choreography from Nebraska dance students and Susan Ourada.
