Commission on the Status of Women seeks student applications

.

Student applications are now being accepted for membership into the Chancellor’s Commission on the Status of Women.

Membership in the Council of Students, which is scheduled to begin in fall 2019, is open to both undergraduate and graduate students at Nebraska.

The purpose of the Commission is to advise the Chancellor on issues pertaining to women on campus. The Commission strives to have a diverse membership that represents the population of women at Nebraska in terms of ethnicity and national origin, sexual orientation, race, religion, age, disability and other characteristics. The Council of Students works independently as well as alongside the Councils of Faculty and Staff.

Review of applications begins April 1, with interview dates anticipated the week of April 8.
