Nebraska’s School of Natural Resources will host Wildlife Encounters, an educational program that teaches families about animals, from 6 to 7 p.m. March 10 in Hardin Hall Auditorium.

The event is part of CASNR Week, which celebrates the college’s students, faculty, staff and alumni March 9-13. The weeklong celebration will feature a blood drive, a community night and an ice cream social. A donation drive for Huskers Helping Huskers Pantry+ will also be held throughout the week.

Encounter CASNR Community Night on March 10 is geared toward families. It will kick off at 4 p.m. with natural resources discovery stations, games and prizes provided by student clubs throughout Hardin Hall first- and second-floor lobbies. Free parking will be provided in the lot north of Hardin Hall.

Wildlife Encounters is an organization dedicated to educating the public about the natural world while offering a home to animals in need. Learn more about the group.
