Campus Rec will host its Fall Colors Hiking Trip, a full day excursion in Platte River State Park, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 28.
The trip offers a quick escape from the city with a full day of hiking around the park’s 14 miles of trails. Attendees will enjoy views of the Platte River while hiking along dirt, tree-covered trails and meeting others at the university passionate about the outdoors. No experience is required and all gear, transportation, instructors, insurance, permits, and meals are provided.
The registration deadline for the trip is Oct. 23. Fees are $15 for students and Campus Rec members and $20 for the general public.
