The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Business Simplified steering committee will provide a progress overview at 10 a.m. Jan. 15 via Zoom.
During the fall semester, teams from across the university worked to assess and ensure that the university’s business and administrative services are provided in an effective, efficient and value-added manner. The teams, part of the Business Simplified project, consisted of staff and faculty across the university’s business and operations community. They focused on three areas — people management, financial and grants management and operational opportunities.
The steering committee is co-chaired by Jeff Bassford and Becky Zavala. Members include Haley Hamel, Alecia Kimbrough, Mary LaGrange, Josh Overocker and James Volkmer.
The Business Simplified steering committee will discuss proposed outcomes and priorities in the campuswide Zoom session. They also are seeking feedback from forum participants as part of the collaborative process.
