Members of the brass faculty in UNL’s Glenn Korff School of Music will pool their efforts in an evening of solo performances for trumpet, horn, trombone and tuba. The performance is 7:30 p.m. Oct. 22 in Kimball Hall.
Works by Johan Neruda, Paul Basler, Gustav Mahler, Eduardo Nogueroles and James Stephenson will be performed by UNL’s Scott Quackenbush, trumpet; K. Craig Bircher, trumpet; Alan Mattingly, horn; Scott Anderson, trombone; and Craig Fuller, tuba. The soloists will be accompanied by Michael Cotton.
The event is free and open to the public.
