The University of Nebraska–Lincoln will be closed Jan. 26 due to inclement weather. This is the second-straight day the university is closed due to the Jan. 25 winter storm.
All scheduled classes and events are canceled and all offices and clinics will be closed. Students should check Canvas for individual class and assignment updates.
Multiple collection sites for the university’s saliva-based testing program will be open starting at 1 p.m. Jan. 26. Details are available here and in the Safer Community app.
Students, instructors and staff who are symptomatic for COVID-19 or suspect exposure can get tested from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Courtyards/TestNebraska site on 17th Street between R and Vine streets or at the University Health Center.
Only those employees required to report during closedowns should report to work. Some operations, such as student services, sporting events or performances, and intercampus transportation may be affected by the closure. Learn more about winter weather closedowns.
