The University of Nebraska–Lincoln reported 84 positive cases of COVID-19 during the most current seven-day period (Oct. 8-14).
During that same span, 1,438 tests were conducted on students, faculty and staff. Tests are conducted (by appointment only) on campus at the TestNebraska facility in the 17th and R Streets parking garage, the University Health Center and the random mitigation testing station in the East Stadium loop, as well as at off-campus medical facilities. The positivity rate during the week was 5.84 percent.
Since university-specific testing began on Aug. 12, 935 total cases have been recorded out of 8,698 tests, for a positivity rate of 10.74 percent.
