Thirty-nine University of Nebraska–Lincoln students have been named to Jacht Ad Agency’s fall crew.
Jacht is a student-run agency offered through the College of Journalism and Mass Communications that allows participants to gain real-world experience by working with a variety of clients on brand strategy, public relations, multimedia and design.
Emma Conarchy, a senior graphic design major and returning “Jachter,” will serve as art director this semester. In this role, she will oversee the design, web and copy teams and lead the creative direction of the agency.
“Something I have learned at Jacht so far is how to communicate with clients and how to improve my time management skills,” she said. “I think Jacht has also helped me to engage with a team and learn how to build stronger connections within a workplace. Something that I am looking forward to this semester is to hold a creative leadership position and to assist others creatively.”
