The University of Nebraska–Lincoln reported 35 positive cases of COVID-19 during the most current seven-day period (Feb. 28 to March 6).
During that same span, 6,275 tests were conducted on students, faculty and staff. The positivity rate during the week was 0.56%.
Tests are conducted through the university’s saliva-based reentry testing program, the TestNebraska facility by the Cather Dining Center (on 17th Street between R and Vine streets), the University Health Center and off-campus medical facilities.
Since university-specific testing began on Aug. 12, 2,664 total cases have been recorded out of 104,205 tests, for a positivity rate of 2.56%.
