The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s newly renovated Writing Center will hold an open house from noon to 2 p.m. Aug. 25 in Andrews Hall, Room 102. Light refreshments will be served during the open house. A brief program begins at 12:30 p.m.

The space includes new technology for multimedia consultations, as well as areas for informal collaboration, individual consultations, and composing or revising.

In the fall 2016 semester, the Writing Center will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to noon on Friday. The center will also offer services 5 to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday in UNL’s Adele Coryell Hall Learning Commons.

The Writing Center supports writers at all levels, from all disciplines, at every stage of the writing process. Services are open to all members of the UNL community.
