Why some July paychecks may look different than expected

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Business and Finance issued a reminder to employees July 28 that the health and dental insurance premium holiday employees experienced in April, May and June 2016 has ended.

Employee salary increases are effective July 1, and July paychecks include all elected deductions. In some individual cases, because of the health and dental insurance premium holiday, employees may not readily recognize their July 1 increases.

Those with any questions are urged to contact their department’s payroll office.
