The Nebraska Center for Virology will hold its 13th annual Symposium in Virology on Oct. 11 in the Nebraska Union.

The daylong, free symposium begins with a continental breakfast at 8 a.m. and concludes with a poster session/wine and cheese reception during which attendees will have the opportunity to visit with presenters.

National experts presenting at the symposium include Deborah Brown, UNL; Ian Lipkin, Columbia University; Leonard Mindich, Rutgers Medical School; Daniel Rock, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; and Robert Silicano, John Hopkins University School of Medicine.

The symposium is free and open to all faculty, students, staff and individuals from related industry. Participants are also encouraged to display a poster.

Registrations and poster titles must be submitted by Oct. 4 at http://www.unl.edu/virologycenter. Advance registration is required.
