Hip-hop artist T-Pain will perform April 22 at Pinnacle Bank Arena for the UNL Spring Concert sponsored by University Program Council.

T-Pain will turn up the bass and treble on the Pinnacle Bank Arena stage at 8 p.m. April 22 for the annual University of Nebraska-Lincoln Spring Concert sponsored by the University Program Council.

A native of Tallahassee, Florida, the rapper-turned-singer and two-time Grammy winner has collaborated with numerous hip-hop artists including Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Akon, Flo Rida, Chris Brown, Ludacris and Snoop Dogg. He is also known for his creative use of the Auto-Tune pitch-correction effect, which has been featured in a popular smartphone app and a Super Bowl commercial.

UNL students can purchase $6 general-admission tickets with a valid NCard at the UPC office in the Nebraska Union, 1400 R St., Room 134, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. The tickets will be available in the UPC office until noon on the day of the show. Faculty, staff and the public can purchase $27 general-admission tickets at the Pinnacle Bank Arena ticket office, all Ticketmaster locations, online here or by phone at 1-800-745-3000.
