‘Songs My Brothers Taught Me’ director to attend Ross screening

Opening April 15 at the Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center is “Songs My Brothers Taught Me.” This film will be showing through April 21

Set on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, the film explores the bond between a brother and sister who find themselves on separate paths to rediscover the meaning of home.

Director Chloé Zhao will appear for a question and answer session with the audience following the 7:30 p.m. April 15 screening.

“Songs My Brothers Taught Me” is not rated. The film may contain graphic content and viewer discretion is advised.

Also showing at the Ross, “Hello, My Name is Doris,” features Sally Field playing a middle-aged office worker who falls for a younger co-worker.

This film is rated R for language and will be showing through April 28.
