The Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management is hosting an afternoon of special events on April 29 at Nebraska Innovation Campus.

The day starts with a panel discussion from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the Nebraska Innovation Campus Auditorium. The topic will be “Technology and the Startup Culture in Silicon Valley.” The panelists are Cody Ebberson and Reshma Khilnani and the discussion will be moderated by Tricia Raikes.

Cody Ebberson and Reshma Khilnani are co-founders of MedXT, a medical software company that was acquired by Box in the fall of 2014. Ebberson is an alumnus of the Raikes School and has held leadership roles at Alliance Healthcare, 24/7 Radiology, Numenta and Microsoft. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Khilnani has held roles at Facebook and Microsoft, and is an alumna of YCombinator. She holds a B.S. and M.Eng from MIT in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

The design studio program event will take place from 2:30 to 3 p.m. in the Nebraska Innovation Campus Auditorium. In the Design Studio, student teams partner with businesses to design and develop real-world, software-based solutions. For more information, click here.
