Mueller Planetarium at the University of Nebraska State Museum in Morrill Hall, 645 N. 14th St., will host a special day of six back-to-back fulldome shows Saturday, May 30.

Visitors can get up close and personal to nature’s most powerful and extreme forces or explore the relationship between the Earth, moon and sun, among other show topics. Children ages 6 and over can learn the basics of rocket physics with “Rusty Rocket” or explore the history of deep-sea exploration in special shows.

The schedule is:

• “Earth, Moon and Sun”: 10 a.m.

• “Forces of Nature”: 11 a.m.

• “Astralis” and “Sunstruck” (double feature): noon

• “Into the Deep”: 1 p.m.

• “Rusty Rocket’s Last Blast”: 2 p.m.

• “Big Red Sky Tour: Spring”: 3 p.m.

Admission is $4 for adults (19 and older), $3 for children per show, plus museum admission. Museum members will pay $2.50 for adults, $2 for children per show (with ID card). Tickets will be sold at the front desk the day of the festival. Children ages 3 and under are not permitted in the planetarium.
