A retirement reception for Meg Lauerman, director of university communications, is 4 to 6 p.m. June 22 at the Sheldon Museum of Art, with a short program at 5:15 p.m.

Lauerman announced last fall that she would step down June 30, 2016. In her 20 years of service to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, she has served as an assistant professor of advertising, assistant to the chancellor and director of university communications.

Lauerman’s leadership has led the university to one unified brand including a consolidated graphic identity under the “Nebraska N” and a consistent university-wide website design.

The reception is free and open to the campus and the public.
