Earl Hawkey will be honored at a retirement reception from 3 to 5 p.m. June 30 in the Van Brunt Visitors Center. Hawkey has served UNL for 23 years, and he most recently led the campus team implementing the current student information system.

Hawkey started his career at UNL by serving as university registrar for 21 years. Since 2012, he served as director of Student Information Systems jointly reporting to ITS and Academic Services and Enrollment Management. He also served as campus project manager for the Nebraska Student Information Systems Project from 2008 to 2011, and he was interim director of Scholarships and Financial Aid from 1997 to 1998.

The retirement reception is free and open to the public.
