The University of Nebraska Federal Credit Union’s annual membership appreciation events conclude with a 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 11 cookout at its main location, 1630 Q St. The cookout is free and open to the public.

For the event, the NUFCU is offering a free lunch of grilled hot dogs, chips, cookie and drink. A raffle benefiting the Team Jack Foundation, which provides funding for pediatric brain cancer research, will also be offered. Tickets are $2 for one or $5 for three. Raffle items include a bike, electronic tablet, Husker tickets and gift cards. And, a Husker football player will provide autographs.

The credit union also hosted a cookout at its East Branch, 301 N. 52nd St., on Sept. 10.
