Chancellor Harvey Perlman issued the following statement regarding the typhoon in the Philippines:
“The University of Nebraska-Lincoln offers its deepest sympathies to the victims of the typhoon in the Philippines and to those in the UNL community who have been affected by this disaster. We extend our thoughts and support to all involved as we continue to learn of the storm’s devastating toll.
“For those who would like to help, a number of relief efforts have been established, including the American Red Cross and UNICEF.”
