UNL’s physics and astronomy department will offer a public night at Behlen Observatory near Mead from 7 to 10 p.m. Feb. 27. The event is free and open to the public.

Directions to Behlen Observatory are available by clicking here.

If the skies are clear, attendees will be able to view the moon, Venus, Jupiter and more through a variety of telescopes. Regardless of weather, throughout the evening there will be presentations by UNL physics and astronomy personnel and physics demonstrations from the Society of Physics Students at UNL.
