Alumni exhibition opens May 18

Forty-three alumni from UNL’s Department of Art and Art History will show their work this summer in the exhibition “UNL Alumni Artists 1970-1973” in the Eisentrager•Howard Gallery in Richards Hall.

The exhibition will open May 18 and will continue through Aug. 7 in the gallery, which is located on the first floor of Richards Hall. Visitors can stop by Room 120 Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. for acces.

An opening reception will be held from 5-7 p.m. June 5 in the gallery. A closing reception will also be held from 5-7 p.m. Aug. 7 in the gallery.

The Department of Art and Art History solicited alumni who graduated from UNL between 1970-1973 to send artwork for the exhibition. The exhibition will be repeated in future years with different graduation dates included. Last summer’s exhibition covered the years 1945-1969.
