The WoodWired Duo, a new electroacoustic duo based in Dallas, Texas, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 12 in Kimball Recital Hall.

Using live looping software and electronics, Hannah Leffler and Cheyenne Cruz play original pieces and their own arrangements of contemporary and classical music to create upbeat music that is a fusion of classical, jazz and popular genres. The guest artist performance is free and open to the public.
