The University of Nebraska–Lincoln has released an update to a proposed $12 million budget reduction. The information and related documents are available for review on the university’s budget reduction website.

The Nov. 21 update provides greater definition of the proposed reductions announced in a Nov. 8 email to the university community. The reductions are necessary to address the university’s structural budget deficit.

The Academic Planning Committee is reviewing the proposal. Students, faculty and staff can provide feedback to the committee electronically. The online form will be available through Dec. 1.
