The University of Nebraska Office Professionals Association is accepting nominations for three campus honors through Oct. 21.

Named in honor of Floyd S. Oldt, the honors — boss of the year, outstanding staff and Silver Pen — include monetary stipends. The awards are funded by a University of Nebraska Foundation endowment established by Oldt.

The boss of the year award is for excellence in personnel management, employee supervision and interpersonal skills. The Silver Pen award goes to two office/service employees who offer superior performance and make significant contributions to the university community. And, the outstanding staff award recognizes an office/service employee who demonstrates distinguished service and contributions to the campus community.
