Transportation research fueled by $13.75M award

The university community and media members are invited to attend a special announcement of a $13.75 million grant to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Mid-America Transportation Center.

The event will be 1 p.m. Dec. 9 at the Van Brunt Visitors Center, 313 N. 13th St.

Speakers will include Chancellor Ronnie Green; Steve Goddard, interim vice chancellor for research and economic development; and Laurence Rilett, director of the Mid-America Transportation Center and the Keith W. Klaasmeyer Chair in Engineering at Nebraska.
