‘The Hero,’ ‘Moka’ at The Ross

‘The Hero’ starring Sam Elliott and ‘Moka’ starring Emmanuelle Devos open July 14 at the Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

‘The Hero,’ which will run through July 27, features Elliott as an aging actor confronting mortality and whose priorities are brought into sharp focus by a surprise cancer diagnosis.

‘Moka,’ an adaptation of the novel by Anglo-French writer Tatiana de Rosney, runs through July 20 and follows Devos as a grieving mother seeking revenge upon the driver of a vintage mocha-colored Mercedes that she thinks hit her son and devastated her life.
