State of the Agency lecture series begins Sept. 14

The annual State of the Agency Lectures series, presented by the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice, will kick off at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 14 in the Nebraska Union Auditorium with a presentation by Aaron Kurtenbach, assistant deputy chief for the U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services Office, District of Nebraska.

A reception will follow in the Heritage Room.

The series will continue with the following speakers:

  • Teresa Ewins, chief of the Lincoln Police Department, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 5

  • Michael G. Heavican, chief justice of the Nebraska Supreme Court, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 9

Both events are in the Nebraska Union Auditorium, with receptions to follow in the Heritage Room.

Each year, the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice invites federal, state and local agency representatives to address the campus community.
