The John Breslow Ice Hockey Center will hold a “Skate with Santa” event from noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 24.

The event is open to the public. Admission is $6 for adults and $5 for children. Skate rental is $3 or free for individuals wearing an ugly sweater.

The Breslow Ice Hockey Center, which opened Dec. 15, 2015, is the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s first indoor ice rink. It is a 53,000-square-foot facility at 433 V St. and offers a single, National Hockey League-sized sheet of ice that is used by sports clubs, intramural leagues and public recreation.

The hockey center is managed by Rink Management Services with programming shared by Nebraska’s Campus Recreation and Lincoln Parks and Recreation.
