A retirement reception for Lynn Doser, building operations manager for Sheldon Museum of Art, will be held 4-6 p.m. Aug. 29 in the museum’s Great Hall.

The reception is free and open to the public.

For 31 years, Doser has been responsible for the most extensive work in Sheldon’s collection — its landmark modernist building. As the building operations manager, she has overseen daily security and maintenance activities and has coordinated major projects involving the museum’s infrastructure and environment.
