The Employee Assistance Program is offering four weeks of virtual parenting classes based on the program Parenting the Love and Logic Way.

The program offers strategies to raise a responsible child who learns from the consequences of their own mistakes. Participants will learn about preparing children for the world and avoiding power struggles by letting empathy and consequences do the teaching.

Zoom classes, which begin April 6, will be offered Thursdays from 4-5 p.m. throughout the month. Participants will receive an overview of the four-week class schedule, and educational material will be provided to reinforce lessons introduced via videos and group discussions.

The deadline for registration is March 30. Those interested can register by calling 402-472-3107 or emailing EAP@unl.edu.
